Ingrid is the founder and principal dietitian at LEDA dietetics. With an undergraduate degree in Arts/Science majoring in psychology and medical ethics and as masters in dietetics/nutrition Ingrid has several years of academic and clinical practice. Ingrid has also undertaken research looking into dietary factors associated with poor insulin outcomes in type 1 diabetics and carbohydrate management in elite athletes.

Ingrid’s speciality is eating disorder management and disordered eating practices, with several years of experience in this area as well as heading the dietetic program at Southern Health’s Eating Disorders Day Program for 3 years – her main focus on recovery and intensive nutritional management. She has additional experience and qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Maudesly based therapy and mindfulness.

Ingrid is also the senior sports dietitian for ST KILDA FOOTBALL CLUB. With three seasons under her belt she affectively manages the nutrition component of this elite AFL team with a focus on high performance nutrition. Ingrid is an active member of the AFL supplement dietetic panel and is passionate about ensuring athletes are able to reach their goals through better body compostion and performance nutrition strategies.

Monique is a member of the Dietitian’s Association of Australia and an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2006 she has worked in a variety of areas with particularly extensive experience in the Food and Medical Industries. She has a special interest in both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, gastrointestinal health, cardiovascular disease, weight management and nutrition during pregnancy.
